- Patio Umbrellas are an easy solution. Octagonal, square, rectangular, manta. Sizes from 4.5' to 18'. In-ground mounts are a popular alternative to standard umbrella bases.
- Shade Sails are another option for smart-looking shade, and can be seen on display on the Terrace of Villa Terrazza.
- Retractable Awnings extend/retract at the push of a button, and are a smart solution when you need shade adjacent to structure.
- Tensile Shade Structures combine shade and art.
- Cabanas & Pavillions allow one to emulate an exclusive resort on your own patio, and some have options for privacy panels or insect screen walls, as well as ceiling fans and lights.
- Pergolas provide a more classic look, and are constructed from wood, stone, or faux-stone

Our commercial line of umbrellas are available in sizes from 5' to 18' in diameter, and in a myriad of shapes. Wind-rated to up to 50 MPH, these umbrellas will never need replacing. Cabanas
Cabanas are a 4-poster umbrella of sorts. Available in any sunbrella™ fabric, they are available in 4-mast version or a central mast option (essentially an umbrella with side drapes). 4-mast units provide a clear-span shaded area without amy obstructions in its center, and are typically available in larger sizes than the single-mast versions. Most cabanas are available with different side drape options - from a insect screen, to a willowy Sunbrella™ sheer, to canvas walls, all the way to a framed & tensioned wall, providing wind protection and privacy. Pergolas
Pergolas combine an architectural element with a permanent shade structure. Available in wood, metal, or synthetic varieties, there are many looks and styles to suit any decor. Some get their shade coverage from plant material, others use lattice or fabric. The architectural nature of the structure simulates a room-like structure, and lends itself well to an anchoring element such as a fireplace or water feature at one end. Outdoor lighting can be low-voltage (12 or 24 v) landscape lighting or line voltage (110V) for permanently-affixed illumination. Solar is making great inroads as well. Generally speaking, line-voltage fixtures give off more light (lumens). Lighting should not be an afterthought, as it should coordinate with other design elements at the home.
